1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Travlyo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses the Service.

2. Description of Service

Travlyo is a trip planning and travel journaling platform that helps you organize, document, and share your travels. The Service includes trip itinerary creation, AI-powered features, travel journal entries with photo uploads, destination guides, hidden gems, curated travel deals, budget tracking, and community publishing.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use most features. You can sign up with Google or GitHub OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Each person may maintain only one account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any illegal purpose, post spam or misleading content, scrape or crawl the Service, compromise security, upload malicious content, or impersonate others. All travel content you publish should be genuine and based on real experiences.

5. Subscription & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Free plan: 50 trips, 3 AI summaries/month, 500MB storage. Explorer ($5/mo): Unlimited trips, unlimited AI, 5GB storage. Nomad ($8.33/mo): Everything in Explorer plus collaboration, 20GB storage, priority support. You may cancel at any time. No refunds for partial months.

6. AI-Generated Content

Travlyo uses AI (powered by Google Gemini) to generate trip itineraries, summaries, and destination suggestions. AI-generated content is provided as helpful suggestions only. You should always verify travel information independently. Travlyo is not liable for any losses arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

7. User Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create on Travlyo. By using the Service, you grant Travlyo a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and process your content solely for operating the Service. We will never sell your content to third parties.

8. Affiliate Links & Deals

Travlyo earns commission from affiliate partnerships. When you click "See Live Price" and complete a booking, Travlyo may earn a referral fee. You pay the same price regardless. Deals marked "Sponsored" are paid placements.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through Settings. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

11. Limitation of Liability

Travlyo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Travlyo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
